Achillea 'Coronation Gold'

Achillea 'Coronation Gold'

A lovely golden yellow flowering Achillea fairly upright and grey green ferny foliage, ( see picture right) the large yellow flowers, rise well above the foliage in late summer. Foliage will reach around 40cm, flowers are tightly packed and prolific.

Achillea 'Coronation Gold' Care

A sunny position in a humus rich well drained soil is best. Over time Achillea 'Coronation Gold' will form a dense clump over time, however it is very well behaved and can be left for a number of years before needing to be divided.

Spent flower heads can be cut back to promote a second flush of flowers if required.

Achillea 'Coronation Gold' can be cut right back early in spring just as new growth begins.

Propagation is by division of established clumps, or from seed. Will self sow, or seeds can be collected to plant in spring.
