Lignonberry Care

Grow your own in a well drained humus rich soil. They like filtered sun and will spread by underground runners. Avoid heavy fertiliser as they seem to resent this.

A small evergreen shrub it loves a cold climate and is sort of a woodland fringe dweller.

Lignonberries are a favorite in Scandinavian Countries and a re a low growing woody shrub, cultivars include : Susi, Sanna, Splendor and Red Pearl.
