Care and growing conditions

This outstanding maple will reach 5m in ideal conditions and prefers a sunny position in a well drained soil. Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' makes a nice ornamental tree for gardens and parks. Use as a feature tree in an open lawn or as a shade tree at the rear of a large border.
